Our History
First Decade (1993 – 2002)
The church was founded when Bishop Dr. Gerald Seale and the late Rev. Dr. Holmes Williams identified the land at Little Battaleys, St. Peter, as a God-ordained place for worship. The first pastor, the late Pastor Barry O’Coin from Canada, was followed by a succession of pastors, including Bishop Rev. Philip Drayton and others. The church welcomed its first 73 members in 1993 and established key ministries, including music, youth, evangelism, and intercessory prayer.
Second Decade (2004 – 2013)
During this period, the church matured, enduring trials while strengthening its faith. The Rev. Victor Payne played a key role during Pastor Edwin Bullen’s illness. The "Baby in the Womb" ministry was launched in 2007, and leadership expanded with the appointment of elders, deacons, and deaconesses in 2013. The church also faced challenges, including the collapse of its 17-year-old tent during Storm Tomas in 2010.
Third Decade (2014 – 2023)
The church celebrated its 21st anniversary with a prayer march in Speightstown. A new tent was erected in 2017 after years of displacement but was later destroyed by Hurricane Elsa in 2021. The church adapted during COVID-19, utilizing digital evangelism through online productions and live streaming. A new church, Koinonia Christian Assembly, was planted in 2019. The church remains committed to missions, evangelism, and discipleship, continuing to impact lives locally and internationally.

Our Mission
"To know Christ and to make Him Known to Every Creature in our Generation"
To know Christ is to experience a deep, personal relationship with Him, understanding His love, grace, and teachings in a way that transforms our hearts and lives. It’s about growing in faith, embracing His truth, and living out His example in every aspect of our lives. But knowing Christ isn’t where it ends—it’s also about making Him known. We are called to share His love and message with everyone around us, reaching out to every corner of the world, regardless of culture, background, or circumstance. Our generation needs to hear the hope and salvation He offers, and it’s our responsibility to be His hands and feet, spreading His light to those who have yet to know Him. Through our actions, words, and service, we have the privilege of sharing Christ’s eternal impact with those who are seeking and helping to bring them into His loving embrace.
