The Usher Ministry supports the overall mission of the church which relates to "Building Families From The Inside Out For The Glory of God". The lord calls us into His vineyard and gives us different assignments. Ushers play a vital role in creating a welcoming and orderly environment for worship. As the first point of contact for members and visitors, ushers set the tone for the worship experience by offering a warm greeting, assisting with seating, and ensuring the smooth flow of services. More than just maintaining order, ushers serve as spiritual hosts, reflecting God’s love and hospitality to all who enter the church.

Purpose & Goals

The Usher Ministry is committed to:

• Creating a welcoming atmosphere that reflects the love of Christ.

• Assisting in the orderly flow of services by guiding seating, managing movement, and providing
  necessary information.

• Ensuring the comfort and safety of congregants by being attentive to their needs.

• Supporting the worship experience by minimizing distractions and maintaining reverence in the sanctuary.

• Serving with humility and excellence, recognizing that every task contributes to the greater purpose of
  glorifying God.
   

Roles & Responsibilities

The Usher Ministry carries out various responsibilities to facilitate smooth and effective services:​

• Providing care for the needs of the Pastor during the service.

• Recording the headcount for every service and providing the information to the Senior Pastor.

• Assisting with seating arrangements to maximize space and ensure comfort.

• Setting up and arranging chairs and equipment, as well as packing them away after use.

• Providing offering and communion support, ensuring these moments are carried out in an orderly manner.

• Maintaining decorum during services, minimizing disruptions and distractions.

• Responding to emergencies by providing assistance and guiding individuals as needed.

• Ensuring that all vehicles are parked in such a systematic manner that there is adequate room for the drivers to manoeuvre safely between vehicles.​
